Maryland Mechanic

Fairly new to the board just picked up an '02 C model. I live in surburban Maryland near DC and looking for a mechanic that knows cruisers and won't try and hose me. I've had the bike about a month and noticed a small leak. Its likely a valve gasket which is nothing major but the local shop here is trying to charge 6 hours which is insane. I've been told I could try it myself but that bottom line it shouldnt take more than an hour or two to get to and replace.

Any help would be great.
