Perfect day

Well here in the Seattle area we got sunshine
Temp very low 50s.

I got up at 10 am (i work swing shift) got a shower and fired up the pellet smoker.

Got the bike out then put a roast to smoke at 160 degrees.

Went for a 2 hour ride then home to check the roast it was time to bump up temp a little so up to 170 degrees.

Jump on bike and out for another ride got home right at the perfect time.

Roast had a internal temp of 150 this is right between rare and medium rare.

Put a potato in the microwave to bake and set roast to resting time.

Just finished a slab of roast with perfect hickory smoke flavor.

Now to go out and put bike away since it is again calling for rain for the next full week.
Rain 30 of the last 35 days sucked and now more.

Get off work every day. Go for a 90 min. ride... every day. Wife has food ready by the time I get home.

The bike and my wife are killing me.

I really need to go directly to gym after work and do 90 mins of intense workout(which I did for several years). Go home and eat nutritious and small portioned meal.

Alas, no time to ride. Not happening! The result? I'm gonna die. I'll have a big belly and be ridiculously happy.

There were lots of bikes out Sunday due to the break from the rain. Where did you ride to Charlie? I picked up an '02 1800 S last July and have been riding around when it's decent enough. Took the bike up to Arlington for a quick flight (lots of airplanes out and about too!) and then rode back home. We need more days like Sunday! That constant rain was really getting to me.
