Cool Heat Reactive Paint

Anyone on the site have any experience with heat reactive paint? i had my gas tank split and a piece welded in to increase the size of the tank a few years back and the repainted has faded. Accordingly I am going to have it repainted....so seeing as how I have a love affair with my bike.... I am thinking of a few twists.

Ideas are welcome....

I've heard about this heat reactive paint, but haven't tried it. Let us know how it goes, please.

Update....Heat Reactive Paint has a limited life. The best available at this point last about two years with an expensive Ultra Violet protective coat. Once it dies...it fades to a dull combination color made of the base coat and the top color...nice concept...but not functional long term.
