Arrow NEEDED 2007-2008 Rear Brake caliper 1800F

Hey there to all.

Been a long time since on the VTXOA . I Still have the bike but haven't ridden in about 5 months because of shoulder surgery, and noticed the rear brake caliper was leaking again.
We have tried fixing the bleeder since it keeps psi for a while and then again leaking trough the bleeder or the seat around it and it still loses pressure due to that.
So I just want to replace the caliper but need one for a Late model VTX1800 and looking for the Silver color caliper. If anyone knows of anyone selling one i would appreciate the connection to them.
Otherwise i will just have to order a new one.

Thanks

Why is common sense not so common

Why doesn't P.E.T.A. ever attack a biker

Hey Jon, it is the original one seen here on my 2007 1800F model its the silverish color rear caliper. It has to be from the later models 2007-2008 because of where the brake line hooks up to it.

Plus I have it on a HDL original down under bracket (Not what you see in the pic) and can't change the way my braided line runs.

Thanks for your assistance.

Does your brake line feed from the top front of the caliper? If so, I have a good pic. I bought this caliper for my 240 conversion.

Got it from one of the members here - Thank you again.

You might also want to consider ebay from a reputable wrecking yard seller. I've had good luck scrounging parts there too. Get a low mileage one from a dinged cruiser. Just a thought.

I also have a 2007 1800F - the rear caliper has the brake line banjo bolt attaching on the top, just like the silver caliper in that picture.

I have a used one, it's not as pretty as the pic the other guy posted. It came off a 30k mile bike. I would recommend rebuilding it, but that's up to you. It's yours for cost of shipping
