so you run 3 advance in front and 8-9 advance timming in rear? it's been a while since I looked at the powercommnder app, but do you have to set that for each RMP/throttle range like the add/remove fuel? or is it just a general setting you put in?

I haven't had mine tuned yet... just using a close to mine map, but it had no timming settings.... I plan to get it tune after I replace the stock clutch since I know it would slip when they tune it... I had it do it a couple times... but anyway, think if I did your timming settings I would benefit?

Ignition on the pcv has the same adjustments as the fuel

Most tuners don't do the ignition

With all of that being said: I have a 2003 1800R that I'm taking in to get put on the dyno next weekend. I had it done some 10 years ago or so when I installed my PCIII. The last time they did it, they referred to it as a "general smoothing". Well it's time to get it done again due to some changes. Is there anything specific that I need to ask to get done? I need it smooth for long trips when the wife is on the back, but would like some more "performance" out of it too. Any suggestions? Thanks.

For what you want you need the PCV a switch and 2 maps.
You should also have throttle body sync too.
Have you ever changed the fpr if not it is also time.

Not looking to get into all of that, just looking for a happy medium. So I should just tell him a general smoothing then? Throttle body sync? Not familiar with that.

No, I have not changed the FPR but sounds like a good time to do it. Thanks.
