They do seem nice. I don't need a radio with all the voices in my head..

It would distract the ones in mine, and we could just all sing along.

Ok. Those speakers are HUGE! They will disrupt the wind, and block part of your view, though they will probably sound nice. I wouldn't mind the smaller speakers, like these, at 1/10th the price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262990145759...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
or these, at even LESS: http://www.ebay.com/itm/272656011946...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
or something like this that mounts in the middle of the handlebars, taking up little room or space in your vision, yet are reported to sound really good: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301663648407...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I see your point. I'd mount them on my (if I had them) Crash Bars. Yes, they are big. To go with a LOVELY BIG BIKE. I have looked at the ones you are talking about, but, MAN, I wan't to hear mine over the exhaust. :0) PEACE

Without having a fairing these are all like designating a peeing section in the pool.

2007 1300C with Woody's Fairing, HD King Tour Pack, and Cavalry Hard Bags.

Disrupt the wind, block view? I looked for overall dimensions on these, but couldnt find them. The speaker diameter is only 6.5 inches so the OD of the housing probably isnt any bigger than 7.5 (guessing). How is this going to block more view than a fairing?

I am looking into adding handlebar mounted speakers and/or crash bar mounted speakers and won't do it if all I can do is the silly ones in the ebay links here. I'd never be able to hear them.

These are made for WAKEBOARDS, so, they would probably be okay for riding. They are 9 inches tall with mount, and 9 inches long. Pretty hefty, and waterproof. Still considering them. PEACE
