Smog and Speedster Swepts

Howdy, Do all VTX 1300's have the Pair Valves or just the California bikes?? I just took delivery on my Cobra Speedster Swept Pipes. I know this Pair Valve talk has been exhausting in its coverage.....but unclear if my 2006 1300 has the anti smog device or not. If it does, it seems everybody has a method. Plug this hose with a sheetrock screw. Another, don't plug it, its the breather tube. I trust in my web wondering I find a mechanic who lays it out in certain terms.

But for now, Do ALL VTX's have Pair Valves??

All bikes have the PAIR system. Do not plug the hose, it will fill up with condensation. Remove it, plug the cap at the engine or just buy the $15 plates. See this http://tech.bareasschoppers.com/engine/vtx-1300-desmog/

Garage
The breather tube is a crankcase 'vent' & must be kept open, un-kinked and working.
If not, pressure will build up and blow out engine seal at shifter!!

The PAIR system is on all VTX bikes, Calif Models have a few extra pieces..
Even a carbon canister at rear of frame in front of rear tire to filter fumes..
Looks like a soup can.....

Get the plates and do it clean if removing the system.
I ran mine with hose plugged (right at air cleaner) for about 1K miles before I got the plates and cleaned up mine.
No water vapor in vac line when I finally took it off...???
