quick help needed

VTX 1300R
My front brake caliper is loose. It shakes like a loose tooth. What bolts do I need to tighten.
I need to ride in about 1 hour from now.

The earlier I get behind, the longer I will have to try and catch up.
It doesn't take me all day to get nothing done; I can get nothing done by break time.

See if it is the Caliper bolts or the Disc bolts. Also check the wheel to see if it is loose if you have not already done so. There are several disc bolts holding the disc to the wheel, and two main bolts as I recall on the right side of the front wheel assembly that need to be tightened for the Caliper to the fork assembly. they are supposed to have lock lite on them. I would not ride until these are tight.

The caliper slides on the bracket, which is bolted to the forks. What exactly seems to be loose? Bracket, caliper, pads???
The bracket should feel solid, the caliper slides on two pins and it is normal for it to have some play, if that's what you're feeling. The pads have a sheet metal "spring" to keep them from bouncing around, did you lose it?
