Fuse problems

2004 vtx 1300 c. Tailight and speedometer wont work after storage.Fuse blown, put in new fuse blows right away so must have a bare wire somewhere. Is there a common place to start my search that is a common pinch point. Thank you.Took my tank off and unhooked it so I believe its not shorting out in the speedo housing. Also no mice damage that I can see easily.

Add Front Run lights, license plate light and speed sensor on the rear of engine case inboard of the drive shaft.

Any mods in the off season????

In the right side cover you can remove the rear lights with the bullet connectors in the clear plastic sleeves..
A Black/Brown stripe wire.
Also goes to the "Optional fog light? connector in the headlight bucket..
Some aux/fog lights have shorted at a hollow bolt I believe..
