hondaline windshield

hello all,,just got a chance to buy a hondaline windshield for my 1300
any thoughts on the function and quality of them?
i have never had a windshield and i dont know if i want to jump into that or not.
any input would be great!!!!

I have the longer Hondaline on my 1800. Good fit, construction. I had to get the split clamps that mount to the fork tubes re-chromed last year, but it was 13 years old, LOL. BTW, if the hardware is in good shape, or the clear part is scratched up or damaged some way, you can order replacements from a company called Clearview. They are slightly thicker, and can be customized taller, wider, tinted, etc.

My bike had a hondaline on it when I bought it and I liked it. I replaced it recently with a Clearview (using old hardware and rangers4u mentions) and am satisfied with it as well.
