Emblems on Sides of Tank.

Took of the 1300 Honda emblems that are on each side of the tank. That's quite a job. If you should ever try it be careful not to scratch the paint. Once I had the chrome plastic emblems it took almost 1/2 btl of Goo Gone & a plastic wall paper scraper to get the black sticky material off. I am no wiz bang doing things to the bike so it took me 45 Min on each side to clean up the area so I could wax the tank. Does look good though.
Also want to thank the members who answered my question about the throttle lock. "Old" Bill

I removed mine on a very warm day.
I used waxed dental floss in a sawing motion, pulling away from the tank.

Once I got it off, I used my thumb to rub the glue into a ball, and removed it.
A little GooGone finished the job. Prolly 20 minutes total.

My knees hit the tail end of the plastic badges when I ride. I replaced them with the 1800 "N" stickers and love'em. They're harder to see so the Harley riders have to get close, then I get to enjoy the..."1800? WOW that's big!"

I'm gonna hit the highway like a battering ram,
on a silver-black PHANTOM bike!

Use the sun to your advantage. Let the bike sit out in the hot sun for a few hours and the badge will peel right off the hot tank and take most, if not all, the 3m bumper tape with it

When I debadged mine, I used 3M Automotive adhesive remover, then waxed the paint. Honestly, after I debadged, I was kind of sorry I did it. At the time I was going to have some pin striping done and never got around to it.
