Panama city beach

Planning a vacation for September 17-24, and am thinking about bringing the bike with me. Any good scenic roads to ride in the area?

No place in Fl. that I'd care to ride so the bike stays home.
Don't know where you coming from but there are some nice routes in south Al. and Ga.
We will be down there Sun. leaving Sat. if you want to meet for lunch, dinner or a drink.
The condo we're staying at is a short walk down the beach to Spinnakers.

There are all kinds of roads up in that area. You can ride up the coast on 98 which is a nice ride!

When we go down to Panama City for Thunder Beach, we always catch a ride over to the Naval Museum in Pensacola. Take the beach route the whole way. If time permits, we will then ride over to Mobile to tour the Battleship. Makes for a long ride, but if you can find the time these places are worth the visit.

Another trip is over to Fort Walton Beach and visit the Air Force Museum outside of Eglin AFB. It is smaller then the Naval museum, but still nice.

Most of the beach routes all look the same after 10 miles. Like Mike, I prefer the mountains well before anything else.

Enjoy your trip and be safe!

by the way the picture of my bike is in Fort Walton Beach
