Trinity Site

Took a 3 day 950 mile ride with some friends to Trinity, New Mexico, aka Trinity Site. The site opens up 2 days a year. The first Saturday of April and the first Saturday of October. Tried to go last April but work got in the way, this October we had the time. Hope you enjoy the pictures/video.

Seems unreal, though it's only been 71 years - well, that was a while ago. Thanks for sharing. I got an error when trying the second link.

That is awesome. I liked the pictures. The second link did not work.

I have been to White Sands and Cloud Croft many times. I have been wanting to go on one of those dates for years. Something always comes up. I just missed the 50th anniversary by a week the first time I was out there. I didn't even know they were having a special event day.

Were is the cabin you have in your pictures? It looks nice. I like camping in the National forest outside Cloud Croft. But a cabin would be nicer for this old fart when with family or questionable weather.

My VTX as used on Race Tech site.I'm68 rode to 49 States+DC & 11 Provinces, 129k on my '07 Black Cherry VTX1300R w/aux tank, Race Tech Gold F&R,Mean City Cycle, Motolights, Glen's Light Bar w Rivco H-4 aux headlights w/SS Utra bulbs,Radiantz LEDs,Baron tach,Marlin therm&clock, PowerLet,Break-A-Way,K&N, IBA: 2xSS2000,12xSS1000,4xBB1500,2TX1000,NPT 29/76; Lake Superior Circle Tour

I was just having trouble with the second link and then it worked. The link has some history, information about Trinity Site.

Hope this works now. I was just on the site.

The cabin is located in Forest Lakes Arizona, a co-worker of mine has be fixing the cabin up the last couple of years. A not really a town but a community where desert dwellers go in the summer to cool off. Forest Lakes is about 35 miles east of Payson Arizona.
