Actually more like a cascade. Really nice area and fantastic roads to ride. Lotsa curves in north Georgia. The road around Lake Burton was great. Helen was well under way for the season. Some new pavement and road on some new repair material, they did alot of corners with it....a real strange type of chip coat. Felt like sandpaper.

I have gone across from GA 197 to US23 a few times. Never knew aqbout those falls.
Jane has been to Panther Creeks before, w/o me...
Very nice. Low water crossing on 197, one time it did have water in it...

I really need to be closer to the area....lol Logged 523 real miles. Had a few issues with my phone as a navigation device...at one point I noticed my destination time kept creeping up....I thought WTH, stopped only to learn the unit was 20 minutes behind me, and I am making turns to places I didnt want to go.....I think my paper map is a little dated as well.....damn.

Beautiful. I have a 25 foot vertical drop waterfall right in my front yard. You can hear it in the house this time of year
