I would suggest if you go down the outter banks to allow for extra time. Waiting on the ferry's and the ferry trips are slow!! We drove out of Va. Beach last year and rode down the banks almost to SC... it took all day. One of the ferry rides was over 2 hours! :shock: It was a nice ride though! Enjoy!
