Rubbed dish soap on it like drtrider on the illinois board said to do. Got a small bubble on the exit hole, nothing on the entrance hole, so I plugged it, and I guess I need a new tire  I hate bikes, HA just kidding what ever, I got home, and im a bit pi$$ed, but what you gona do. Dan if it was a tube type i wouldn't worry, but being a tubeless tire I wouldn't ride until it is replaced, the way it went through the tire it could have cut the belts making them weak and posing a threat to blowing out or a sudden tire failure, causing bad things to happen to you, NOT GOOD! replace it, you know that they don't repair tubeless tires on a motorcycle, just my thought------------ace

Oh ACE ACE ACE, it will be replaced, I didnt plug it so I could ride it, I pluged it so it would sit on a flat, I dont trust leaving it on the jack with the kids running in and out of the garage. I just didnt want my girl sitting on her RIM. LOL

Thanks, I got it pluged, and its holding air. I just got to get a tire, and for what the new stock tires are going for, im getting tempted to buy what I want, if I cant find a deal, on a slightly used one to get through riding season.

First off that really sucks reaper!!! When I first got my VTX I road one weekend and was cleaning it up on a Sunday and found a nail in the tire. Had 340 miles on the brand new tires.
I would not ride on the tire in the picture you took, even if you could plug it successfully. With the nail through the side wall, I would just throw the tire away. Riding a bike is supposed to be fun, it would really suck to be on the road riding and not have trust in your equipment.
Change the tire, and you will feel a lot better when you go and ride. Better to be safe. These machines are not toys.
