Ride to remember

Hi fellow X riders, I’m trying to plan a VTX ride to the crash sight of flight 93 in shanksville pa, On September 11th this will be a commemorative ride for the people who lost their lives on the sad day in our history. I’m also working on a t-shirt for this ride; I will post the t-shirt design as soon as I get a confirmation back from the t-shirt maker. The more t-shirt orders I get the cheaper they will be. The shirts will be sold at my cost + shipping. They will have the VTX letters on the shirt front and back !! That’s all I’ll give away at this time. It is a 245 mile one way trip from Delaware, so it will be an overnighter if you like to stay and have breakfast. There are a lot of details to be worked out yet, so I’ll need some feed back. Hotel accommodations are one of the things I’ll be working on. I have found several places to stay at rates from $35.00 and up per night. Depending on how many riders we can get to go I will look into a discount for the rooms. I will update when information as soon as I can. We have 5 months till September, I hope we have a big turn out if we do I’ll be contacting the media maybe they might cover it ?? Will see? Hi Gang I have conformation on are t-shirts for the September 11 th ride. I need a 12 shirt minimum order for them to be printed; the Cost will be $13.00 Inc shipping This is my first time with ordering shirts so I would like a good faith refundable deposit of $5.00 if we don’t make the 12 shirt min, I will refund you deposit. Depending on how close we get I can make up the difference. I will send you a receipt and as soon as they are printed you will get a conformation e-mail when they will be shipped. The front of shirt on the left breast side will be the logo VTX and under this will be the date September 11th, 2006. They will be small but nice size. On the back in big bold letters on top will be VTX and in an arc from shoulder to shoulder will be RIDE TO REMEMBER, under this in the middle will be FLIGHT 93. Then under that will be SHANKSVILLE, Pa and under this will be the date SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2006. I think they will look great and make a nice statement. I know there are a lot of Sept, 11 rides out there but this would be the first 9/11 VTX ride…that I know of. Thanks for taking the time to read this long post. God bless and ride safe.
