Just stumbled on this so I have to get up to speed.
Last August got bike back from insurance and started tear down.
Early September had inventory complete and started buying replacement parts.
Mid October finished mock-up and started tear down for paint.
Early November Dropped tins off at painter.
Mid November started painstaking process of polishing everything aluminum.
December still polishing! Find time to fabricate and polish front turn signal/clutch brake lever combo. (I should patent these!)
Late December Christmas present for the X. New mirrors go on!
January sign off on final body work on tins and graphic designs.
February fabricated and polished side mount license frame.
March finished polishing final drive, and rims.
Mid March Fabricated and polished 10" hard struts.
Late March Finally finish all electrical work!!! Yeah!!!
April - MOD MONTH!!! Desmog, ground fix(s), fork extenders (G-man), headlight rattle, gas line disconnect, fuel pump mod, and the month is only half gone!
