I want to buy something I can use to talk to my passenger, listen to music, talk over the cell phone and also listen to my GPS. I have Bub's :-)...can't hear anything while riding. I am looking for some good quality stuff. thanks in advance.

www.autocomamerica.com/docs/home.cfm (http://www.autocomamerica.com/docs/home.cfm) .... I heard these guys at Daytona and they sounded great. Several board members also have these in one configuration or another. I'm buying this pair as soon as I get the funds 8)

Got this setup. You can stuff it in a tankbag and hook practically anything into it. Has a built-in FM tuner, full-duplex intercom. Works great!

Hey bad Ideal. I bought the bike so I could take my wife with me and not have to listen to her...LOL

I too use an Autocom system (the Active-7). An Autocom will give you the most premier sound for a competitive price. After I heard a live demo at the Reno Street Vibrations last Fall, I almost bought it at full price on the spot; but happily I waited to buy it from their main US Distributor and got in on the 1/2 price sale that lasted for about 3 months (Nov-Jan).

My wife and I used the Chatterbox for 2 years and honestly, it was a mere step above a toy. I'm here to tell you that an Autocom (and other systems like J&M or Baehr, etc.) are the real deal! The 2006 model Autocoms (the "Plus" models) can be additionally rigged for bluetooth this coming fall. This company is SOLID.

A Typical Setup (I use all the peripherals shown as well)

Has anybody used the Firefox intercom system with the throat mikes? The concept seems like it would work, but I hate to waste money on crap.

I have that system and only used it once on the bike. If you don't get the mike on the sweet spot on you neck it doesn't pick up your voice well. Other than that it seemed to work ok. I think the also have a modle that you can plug a cellphone or mp3 player into.

I glad you guys like the AudiBoss. I have been thinking of that unit for a while.

Do you notice that a device for the passenger to communicate with the Rider is called a 'Boss'. does this bug anyone else? :D
