Howdy ya'll,
I was just wondering if there were any PGR members as well on here. Looking to get together and ride, but not just for missions. I live in Summerville.

I'm a member also. Haven't had the priviledge of riding on a mission yet. I'd say we're pretty close!

Had never heard of the PGR until I read it here. Sounds like a good group of patriots. Pretty despicable to protest funerals in my opinion. I really can't believe some people actually have the gall to do that. There is a time and a place for politics, and it ain't at a funeral.

Good to see the low country represented. Did any of you make the Veterans home ride last weekend? I had Reserves that weekend, but Steam said that there will probably be another one. Hopefully we can get together and not just for a mission.

I didn't make the Veterans home ride. I have been talking to Steam about a ride I am coordinating for our base riders assoc to Dorn VA hospital. Several of our base riders are also PGR members. Sometime in May I hope for us to meet up with some PGR riders and ride up from Shaw AFB to Dorn and visit with some of the vets there. I have already been in touch with the military affairs office and got permission for us to visit. We must give them approx 2 weeks notice so I must get our assoc to make a decision soon. I also have a list of what we can and cannot give to the residents. Most we cannot bring any food items to give away, most of the residents are on special diets. Items we can bring are tube socks, crossword puzzles, and several other items which I can't remember as the list is on my work computer. If you are interested keep checking the PGR website under the southeast riders forum.

We had a coming home ride for some soldiers that were coming back
from Afganistan. It was a very last minute thing. Only had 4 bikes and one cage. It still turned out good. The ride was Tue. 1230. The soldiers were coming to the Donaldson Center Armory from Ft.Bragg.

The ride to Dorn is going to be on 1 June. It is a combination of Shaw AFB riders and PGR riders. We will be leaving Shaw AFB at 1200hrs and meeting up with PGR on US378. We will ride to Maurices BBQ on US378 just past Dorn VA Hosp. After lunch we will ride to Dorn and have a nice visit with some vets. This is a Shaw Military Riders Assoc (SMRA) ride and PGR riders have been invited to ride along. I say that so it is clear SMRA is heading this one up with SMRA providing the ride captians. Also to ride with us on this ride a helmet is required, military rules. Some may elect to just show up at Dorn and that is fine. There is a list of items that is allowed and not allowed to be given to the residents of Dorn, go to this http://www.patriotguard.org/Forums/tabid/61/forumid/35/postid/79887/view/topic/Default.aspx link and check it out. If you are inclined to attend please leave a post, either here or at the PGR board so I can get a head count.

Hey pmeasy,
There are meets on Satudays at different coffee shops. I believe this Sat. will be in Mt. Pleasant. @ Beaner's. I have to work ( midnight to 0800, ), but am planning on meeting SilverFox and heading over. Hope to see you and any others there or even riding over together.
