Has the law that changes the way bartenders can pour drinks out of minis been enacted into law? I heard that it had been changed but I didn't know when it would take effect. Anyone know about this change in the liquor law?

I've been hearing that for well over a year now... I think they either have not voted on it yet or it was declined.... I want to say that I remember talking about it last time I was in SC and heard it was declined, we figured it was because they make more $$$$ with the little bottles... i.e. you can't make drinks "heavy" with a predetermined amount and they get tax off of each bottle....go figure....

Fantastic. I got a Texas Marquerita with Grand Marnier and it cost me $18 in Hilton Head, S.C. I asked why it was so expensive and she told me $3 for the mixer, $5 for one Tequila bottle, $5 for another because I wanted it strong and $5 for the Grand Marnier to top it off. I have since saved over 100 bottles of various liquors to take with me when I go over their or on airplane trips so I can add what I want to make a good drink without having to pay an arm and a leg for it.
