Anyone have a connection to the Carroll Company or it may be called HD Leather Co. in Boone NC? I'm trying to find a decent set of the 774SP saddlebags. Tried CLWs but it did'nt work out. Know theres got to be another dealer in the area that carries these bags. Any help would be appreciated.

Is this the same company? They are in Fleetwood, NC. I bought the 774SP and love them.

It's not the company site, but they do carry Carroll Leather saddlebags and they appear to be at a discounted price. Nice site!

Hdog, that is the company I tried to buy them from but the workmanship looks like crap. I've seen these bags before and they all do not look like the ones they sent me or they would'nt still be in business. The owner claims thats as good as it gets. BS. Read my post on the 2nd page of the general message board. Its complete w/pics. ------------------- All I want are 2 bags that are remotely close. Not perfect.

I'm sorry you had a less than satisfactory experience with this company. I was very pleased with both the quality of the bags and the timely shipping. I received them within 2 days of ordering, and I placed them on a table side by side to examine the quality. They were sewn good and symetrical. I have no issues with the quality. I put them on the bike using easy brackets so I could remove them when around town, but I like the looks so much I leave them on the bike all of the time.
I hope you can resolve the problem with yours.

Thanks hdog. Yeah the guy has it going on with the shipping. He was fast. Also, he agreed to refund our money so there is no problem there either. Did you look at the pics on the 2nd page of the General message board? Hope your bags did'nt look like that. ----- I have the same bags ordered from a local dealer and they saved me $14 to boot. I talked directly to the Carroll Co. and they assured me these bags would be right. I'll know thurs. Thanks again for the responses.
