I put a ultimate big boy (or whatever its called) seat on my bike over the winter. also highway pegs, in preparation for a long trip.
the stock seat was perfect. no complaints, no pain ever.
now I have these probs:
my pants ride up my crotch and crush the family jewels.
and my inner thighs are sore .... I think they touch the back corners of the tank now. (it might just be from the winter lay off). anyone else have similar issues?
and lastly, I took off my windshield and lost the damned mounting screws. Where can I replace them? I believe the windshield came from Hondaline, and is a full windshield.
thanks guys/gals,
Tim

I had the same problems with the Ultimate seat when I put it on just over a year ago. It put me at least an inche (maybe 2) higher, which put me way above my windshield. The top of the windshield hit me below my chin, and it's supposed to be between the top lip and bottom of the nose.
I also noticed that the boys were resting firmly against the tank, and that was not something I was NOT happy with. It felt as if the front was wider than the stock seat as well, which seemed to make my legs more tired.
I'm sure others may have different opinions, and those that like the seat seem to really like the seat. So maybe it's just us or we've got bad products.
Friends have told me that I should have ridden the seat longer (it was only on for 24 hours), and that it would "break in." I'd purchased the whole 4 piece set, and for $800 (with pouch) it was simply too much for me to take a chance on the break-in.
Not sure if Ultimate will take it back this late, but I say give them a call. When I called to return mine there were no problems, so I was very pleased with that. In fact, I was so pleased with their service on over the phone and by email that I have actually wondered about trying them again.
Let us know what happens.

yes, that was an early season phenomenon.
I am utterly comfortable with my ultimate and very happy I bought it.
Who would have thought that a back rest would make you feel like you are riding on and easy chair on top of a herd of stampeding bison.

Now granted Im one that loves my ultimate seat. But I know that they have change there prodution. They used to use the factory seat pans to get that perfect fit, from what Ive heard is that they make there own pans know and that there have been a few complaints. Dont know that this has anything to do with your problem but it could be. My seat is the singal best mod Ive done.
