Thanks to everyone for coming to the event today!

First I wanted to say that I was suprised at the turnout we had. A rough headcount was 26, with about 21 bikes which is just awesome! Kudos to those who made the long haul from maryland/delaware area for this event.

We will be posting the date/event planning for a may meet & greet hopefully within this week. So keep checking for posts.

Please feel free to email pics to hudock@gmail.com and I can add them to the gallery.

Enjoy the pictures!

Josh I want everyone to notice the 'HOSE CLAMP' on Bullit's exhaust (lower pipe). We really gave it to him, the weld broke and had to clamp the pipe to the support bracket.

Josh,

Had a real nice time. Thanks for taking the time and making the effort to plan it out. Great turn out, great food, and a great ride. I enjoyed meeting the new faces and seeing the old ones again. The ride back was soo nice, it was a pleasure ride instead of a destination ride, of course it took longer... .

Thought I had run ouf of PA Pins, but I checked and I got 5 left..... they were tucked in a smaller pocket. Oh well.

I will send you a few pics, and you can post whichever ones you want. I had to get a pic of that long chopper tho.... even if it wasn't a VTX.

I also got some burn on the face.

THANKS...... and it was a pleasure meeting/seeing everyone again.

BTW -- I think those balls are just a little too small for that 1800.

What a great day! :) I can't begin to say how impressed I was with the turnout. Had a great time riding there and an even better time at the Lube! It was nice to put faces with the names. Met some new friends and saw some old friends. What more could one expect in a day. Josh you did a great job setting this up, thanks! Looking forward to more events like this during the summer. 8)

It was a good ride from Hershey. My thanks to all who organized it.
Here's two photos. There's more, so click on the "See my bike" link at the bottom.
I'll be at Ephrata on Sunday also.

Hey I know that bike !!! Is anyone setting anything up for the Ephrata ride on Sunday ? Have never been there but am going to try to make there with the wife. Any directions if there is nothing set up, I am in Md but would guess I would be going out 30 towards Lancaster. Is there a map or address to the place ?
Thanks,
Jim

Hey Hutch. Here's a link to a map of Ephrata for you and anyone else who's interested in going.

All the bikes are in the Community Park. Take the road off W. Main into the Park. There will probably be Police directing traffic at that intersection cause it gets that busy.

It's hard to find people there so if you want to meet someone it's best to set a time and place to meet or you'll never find them. I usually get there around 9 AM and it's hard to find a parking place.

Also a good place to eat is the Cloister Diner at the corner of Cloister Ave.

That picture I took of you at the Lube came out great!

Bullett --- NO, the 1800 doesn't really "need" bigger balls, it's already got em from my perspective. But if you are gonna display those things in public  ..... at least try not to be too deceptive about it (truth in advertising) and display the appropriate (bigger) size.... That's all we need is for some "Other Bike" rider to claim he was tricked into a run he got whipped in, based on the size of the balls..... Actually, I don't think the bigger ones would fit without them draggin...

Bullett, So youre the wise guy that took the vanity plate I wanted. I plugged in a variety of the 1800 combos at the DMV and all were taken..so I settled for BG-1800. I would much rather have yours....how much for you to give it up???

She is not sure she is going, she was accepted to Nursing school and is finishing her last class, she has her final coming up and wants to study. So I am not sure what is going to happen, I may still go (and take her bike) but I am not sure. So much to do after the wet spring and longggg winter. As she said we can always go to the next one. And yes as much talk as goes on with the VTX vs Vrod posts I think it is an almost sure thing that the V rod will take a VTX every time unless the V rod rider screws up. After mine was dyno tuned with the new pipes and airbox it was closer but.....I will post later in the week if we will make it to Ephrata or not.
