Turn Signal Options with our inspections

I've been looking into new signals. I read at the MSF site that Hawaii requires turn signals on bikes for the safety inspections. Anyone put non-DOT signals on and had any inspection problems?

INOKEA, you had the turn signals inthe mirrors right? That's what I'm looking for.

You have to have turn signals to pass the safety inspection at most places. There is a old place off of nimitz behind Cycle City that might pass you on your safety regardless of what you have had done. I haven't seen anyone go up there with aftermarket turn signals yet. But if they wont pass you, just throw the stock on just for the test. And then rip them off again. But i think you can get by with ne turn signals. I am going to be placing them on the Mirrors of my 600 Shadow. I will let you know what hassle I run into with my safety.
