I always ride along the coast North bound at least once. You'll need to do this one before the Ocean Boulevard lane closures the 18th thru the 20th.
From the Pavillion, take Ocean Boulevard as far north as you can. Cruise slow and check out all the sites.
Get on Hwy 17 North and ride it past Colonial Mall and Briarcliff Acres to about 48th St. Turn right and go back to Ocean Blvd. You're now in Windy Hill.
Ride to the end and follow the sign back to 17. Turn right on 17 and stay on 17 'till you get past Atlantic Beach (I don't know why you can't ride Ocean Blvd through Atlantic Beach, but you have to bypass it.) and turn right onto 25th ave. Go back to Ocean Blvd and go North through Crescent, then Ocean Drive, to Cherry Grove.
Go all the way to about 53rd ave, turn left then immediately back to the left onto Lake Dr. Follow Lake to 39th to Duffy St (it's all the same road) to Sea Mountain Highway (The traffic light). Turn right and follow Sea Mountain highway away from the ocean, over the 17 bridge, across the waterway draw bridge, straight across hwy 90 to the traffic light at Food Lion. That's Hwy 9. Turn left, go about 2 miles to HB Spokes and have a beer (or Pepsi). Hang out, then return.
Or.......
From HB Spokes, turn right onto HWY 9, go a few miles to the traffic light just past Aberdeen Golf Course and turn left onto hwy 905. Follow it all the way to 501 in Conway. Go South. 501 South will run you eventually back to where you started from at the Pavillion.
You know, the route doesn't look that complicated in my head...but put it on paper and it's a bit confusing. The beauty of riding at the beach, if you get lost....it's just that much better!

Want to get down to the Inlet Square vendors or Suck Bang Blow and the traffic on 17 is backed up at the Harley Dealership? At the traffic light where South Ocean Blvd meets 17 business you'll probably see the back up. From 17bus South turn right onto Farrow Parkway. From Ocean Blvd, go straight across onto Farrow. Follow Farrow to 17 bypass, and go South. 17 will take you to the mall. SBB is close by too. You can get back to business 17 after bypassing the Harley traffic if you want by taking 544 (Dick Pond), Glens Bay, or the Garden City connector.

Venturing into NC? Take your helmet along. Take 17 North through Little River. Turn Right onto 179 through Calabash, to Sunset Beach. Follow Beach Dr and Shoreline drive through Ocean Isle then up to 17 main st in Shalotte. If it's after 4pm and friday or Saturday night, stop at Joe's BBQ for the buffet. MMMMM Good. Come on back down 17 to get back to Myrtle Beach.
