Hello All,
Is there anyone going this year to the VTX rally in Colorado ? It looks like I may be able to attend this year as well. I was looking for a guide/friend/group to enjoy the ride with.
Let me know if you're going and what day you'll be leaving / returning.

The "Coloradical" is scheduled for 1-4 July, but, of course, there's the couple of days traveling there and back . . . so it's more like 29 June - 6 July . . .

WAH and I are going. We plan on leaving about the same date as you but returning a couple of days later. Maybe we'll see ya on the road.
We plan on taking 412 outta Tulsa to Woodward and on the other side of Woodward catch 183 to 50 and that all the way to Pueblo. From there up 25 to the hotel.
This was the route we came back last year and the roads were pretty good then.

I'll be living in Farmington, AZ. then, so I will be able to go to the rally in Colorado. I am the one who rode the v-star in Eureka Springs for the spring ride this year.

I just got back from Denver. I rode four days there. Over four passes, across the Grand Mesa, and to the top of Mt Evans. Mt Evans is the highest paved road in the US. 14,200 feet up and cold ! The wind chill was 5 below that afternoon. I'll post pictures on my website of the ride later.

Wow Cruz N great pics, thanks for sharing. Guess thats one reason the VTX riders there don't put on their ride event during Memorial Day weekend. A wee bit cold!

Great pics CruzN!!!!
We were just up on Grand Mesa a couple of weeks before Memorial Day and that lake on top of GM (pic 32) was still frozen on top!!! They must've warmed up down there finally!!!
Glad you had a good time!!!
