Satellite antenna question

I'vs searched and can't find the answer. Will a satellite radio antenna also work as a GPS antenna? Would like to mount one and use for both.

i doubt it. chances that the antenna can work at what are probubly very different frequencies is slim. you would at best have a comprimised system where youd either get crappy gps reception or crappy radio reception. might try to google for a tech board that would cover this kinda thing.

Well... Satellite Radio uses 2.3Ghz freq and GPS uses 1.5Ghz. So, IF the antennas are tuned to their respective uses that would eliminate the possibility of using one for both!
