Lowrance iWay 500C

Got a GPS to play with. Decided on this one and like it so far. Hard wired into elect system, ran stereo hookup wire to rear of tank so I can either hook up XM MyFI or GPS / MP3 player to helmet speakers. So far, so good. I'll see if it's a keeper after 5000 mile ride in June / July. Might be on Ebay if not. 8)

Hi folks,

Thought I'd post some info on the new QREMM-SL quick release mount for the IWAY 500c.

The custom fabricated bracket attaches to the back of the IWAY and repositions the QREMM-SL quick release with safety latch to underneith the GPS. This redistributes the weight of the IWAY from the rear of the GPS to the bottom. Of more significance, by repositioning the quick release to underneith, you have almost unlimited range of positions.

The QREMM-SL quick release mount also allows you to attach a video camera to tape your ride. To swap between your GPS and video camera takes about 3 seconds.

If you are going to the ROT rally, having a video camera mounted on your bike is lots of fun.

I have primarily been selling this to Goldwingers and have decided to expand to the VTXer market.
