Guys,

I registered at the Patriot Guard Riders site yesterday. I'm thinking about participating in some of their 'missions'. Any intereset? This is NOT a political group. They just show respect for fallen soldiers. What do you think?

Herbie, I'm interested, sounds like a good thing to do and might be some fun to, count me in. I will get registered soon. I would do anything i could for any fallen solders and their families.

As a PGR member I can tell you it's an awesome group to associate with. I just got back from the LCPL Nicholas Sovie mission in Ogdensburg NY. You can see the photo's from this mission at http://renaissance.50megs.com/sovie.htm

Hope you all join the PGR, just hope we don't have to meet as PGR members very often - the less we have to bury, the better I feel.

I just 'signed up' a couple of days ago, too.
We've got a street re-naming coming up, here on Long Island, on June 17th, in honor of one of our fallen soldiers. The soldier's father joined the PGR shortly after his son's death. I know that several of us from L.I. will be going to that one.

Herbie, I forgot to tell you i signed up a few weeks ago. Let me know if you hear anything, i haven't had any response from anyone since i signed on, maybe thats normal.

You normally will not get any response unless there is a last-minute mission that comes down. You need to go to the homepage on a regular basis and watch the "CONFIRMED MISSIONS" and "WATCH LIST" for missions that are in your area or wherever your willing to travel and attend. Frequent the forums as much as possible and you'll hear of other event's that PGR members are attending or trying to arrange. Just make sure you put in your order for your PGR patch/flag/etc as soon as you can so you'll have them if a mission comes up.
