OK. My VTX is 8 months old 5600 miles. Today I riding with a group of Harleys no less and this guy I'm always ragging on about the many problems he has with his 2000 fatboy gets this crap eating grin on his face at a red light. I'm like WHAT!? He happily points to my radiator. Coolant is pooled on the pavement from my BIKE! So I drop out of the ride. Take a close look. I use my handy leatherman wave tool to do a quick check all hoses tight. I ride a couple of miles to the dealer. I tell them what is going on then he has me pull around back. He gets his pad starts writing all info down and says leave it with me for a week! a WEEK! I say ok. It then tries to get to sign some form that says I will pay all charges for repair when it is complete. I'm like HELL NO this baby is still under FULL factory warranty. He gets all snuddy and pops off that's at our discression. THAT"S CRAP! I say. Well I end up leaving the bike. This other guy I know says if I want they are required to give me a loaner on a warranty repair. I never heard of this. Is it true?
My multipart question is: What could this leak be? Is there any reason it is not under warranty repair? and If he tries to charge me who can I call to make a complaint about my brand new bike not being fixed under warranty? :?:
