I saw in a posting that a number of people are paying alot cash to have there tires mounted and balanced. So here is the deal. There is a shop in town (Rockford IL) that will mount and balance each tire for 25 bucks when you bring in your tires and wheels, 55 bucks each if they have to take the wheels off the bike. He also can meet or beat almost any1s price even web prices for tires most anything else your want or need for your bike. Give him a call and check it out. Tell him that John with the VTX
said to give him a call.
If you buy your tires from him the price for mounting and balanceing is the same. I know if enough people get in on a same buy at the sametime
he mite sweeten the deal.
I know its a long way for a number of people to travel to Rockford to save a few bucks but I work in Carol Stream at the Post Office on the night shift so if you want you can drop off your wheels, tires and cash for the mounting and balancing and I'll bring them to his shop and pick them up when the work is done and bring them back to work and you can pick them up at my work. Every1 has been very helpful when I needed help
so it my way to help.
Just PM me and know if I can help.

So here is his shop Info

That's a great price. Seems that $35 - $40 per wheel with the rims removed is the going rate around here (far northern Chicago suburbs). $80 - $90 per wheel if they need to take the wheels off and re-mount.

Mike's a good guy. Mostly Harley stuff in his shop but he'll order anything. Stop by for a free pop in the summer time or just to BS with him. I work about 1 minute away and stop in from time to time.

That does sound like a good price.
