Now that you have a new patch and logo, the one thing you might want to do is have it transferred on a shirt. Your patch is very nice and colorful and would look great on a white shirt.
To give you an example, there are many X'ers having their patch designs heat transferred from this guy's website:
www.shirtznthingz.com (http://www.shirtznthingz.com)
Click on "CLUB shirts" to see other patches used.
It is not silkscreened but heat transferred. A bit more cost effective but not as durable as a silkscreened shirt.
Just thought I'd chime in with an idea for you.
All the Best~

Mate..me & Kat finally made it down to Iluka last weekend and had lunch at the Sledgers Reef Hotel. I was gonna ring but we just jumped on the bike and rode not knowing how far we would go coz of the rain. We also did Evans Head which is a great little spot and the roads to and from are good too. Would do it again, no worries.
As far as the shirt goes, I have made an enquiry to the website above that GA-Prickster suggested (thanks for that) regarding getting the patch printed on the back and front pocket of a white tee. The white ones up the top of this post from eBay worked out a bit too expensive - I think they were gonna cost over $40. Will post when I get a price back.

Good idea - only thing is a lot of places charge you a set up fee or art work fee so you really need to get a few of them to make the price affordable.
Do you know someone that does screen printing??
Open to any ideas though!!

onya black 02, it looks like someone else agrees with me Beaker - bigger sacks are required! I would love to get one (or two - or is that a pair) of these custom made designer label wash and wear accoutrements. maybe the shirts could be just a normal, plain white shirt with a kangaroos sack bearing a VTX branding 8) any takers? they do use them to make very nice bottle openers and coin purses afterall.
btw, can someone please tell me how to insert quotes into postings the proper way?

Yeah mate I did - the price on the shirt wasn't too bad (US$18.95) but the cost of shipping is what killed it for us - they wanted nearly US$50 to send 4 shirts to me which works out at US$12.50 each!!!! That is just ridiculous and refuse to pay that much for shipping!! I know this included insurance and proof of delivery but really, do you need it for tee shirts?? I believe that it would cost around $10 to put 4 shirts in a small box or envelope and send via USPS.
What I need is a contact in the US who can receive goods for me and then forward them on via US Postal Service. Most places want to send everything by UPS or FedEx and the cost of shipping with these guys is what usually stops me going ahead.
Whenever I have purchased anything from another member in the US I always ask them to use USPS as it is less than half the price of the others and alway arrives promptly.

Did shirtznthingz possibly offer an alternative by quoting USPS? Is it even available?
I know Phil @ shirtznthingz. Do you need help? Do you want me to call?

Yeah mate, the forwards make it feel like a whole new bike. I pick up my 14" apes on Friday - then I have to measure up and order cables and brake line, so still a few weeks off before I'm finished. Sat on Greg's a few weeks back and that made my mind up - felt fantastic, but I thought I would go a little lower so we don't look exactly the same.
