Dayum... missed the Donnie Smith event at the Narrows!

Rats. I didn't even know there was a big event going on there yesterday until we drove by on our way home from a friend's wedding at about 10:00pm. Found it on-line this morning: "Narrows: Outdoor Music Showcase and Donnie Smith Traveling Bike Show". That would have been awesome. I wish it would have been publicized better (or that I paid better attention??). Oh well.

Ontheedge02 and I did make it to the Delano Sports Center open house in the morning. Ran my bike at their dyno shootout and got results that made me happy - 96.26HP and 111.88lb/ft. Had a nice ride out through Howard Lake and the county roads west of Buffalo on our way home. Great place to ride. We avoided all but a few sprinkles.

Hey Rob, Got your PM to late, otherwise would have met you in Delano. The Sports Center is only about half an hour from my place.
There are alot of great county roads out this way for riding around lakes. North of Eden Valley, up to Richmond around the chain of lakes are some great roads. Can get busy on weekends though, like to go up that way during the week, roads are virtually empty after supper time.
Nice numbers on the dyno by the way!
