Do you need to buy the tires or have them this week? I have been researching tires for my 1800 VTXC this week also. I have read alot of input and have came to the conclusion that most everyone has an opinion and some with good experiences and some with bad... On the same product with the same bike???... Is it the quality control or what? some with good wear and some not so good... We all ride different and keep air pressure all over the board. What I plan to do is try the Bridgestone "Z" high milage G851F and G850R. These are radials and on sale on HDL for $235.00 a set...with free shipping. The comparable Avon Venon, Dunlop Elite III, and Metzeler 880 are around $340 a set. (Front and Rear.) Mounting your choice??? Good luck  and shop around if you have time? Ed1947

I would try http://www.hondadirectlineusa.com this week/weekend. Great prices plus 10% off for Memorial Day.

I pushed it a bit, but I got 16,000 miles from a set of Metzler Marithon 880's. Now I have my second set, at about 340-400$ a. If you buy off the net, you can find deals, shipping vrs. not paying tax, but most shop/dealers get 50$plus to mount and balance them. Less if you just bring them the tires. Seattle Cycle on Aurora will mount for free if you buy from them, and their always on sale. Tell Lisa, Doug or Bud you know Nelson & Mary, as we're regulars.
