Met some crazy Aussies in service.

Man those guys could put away the booze, and
the women were crazy about their accent.

I hope they made it home they were a lot of fun.

If they didn't here is a salute to all the fine young men and
women that served and gave their all for your country.

As they would say:

Hip
Hip
Heres to ya,ya bloody Yank

And we would say:

Hip
Hip
Heres to ya,ya bloody dumb ass Assie.

Man havn't thought of them in years.

I think I need to go,... the tears are filling my eyes and heart

Sounds like you had some fun.

We don't do Memorial Day - we have Anzac Day on 25 April.

Years ago, I had the priviledge of working with a gentleman from Australia and I must say, an upstanding, respectable friend. Because of our friendship and what I had learned from him, he inspired me to travel to Australia some day. I look forward to travelling to Australia sometime in my life.

It has been a while since I have seen him but will never forget him. Our world is small and I am believing that I will some day cross paths with him again.

All the best~

Mate

Just read your comments and felt that I had to reply. I have just returned from a tour in Iraq. Where I had 15 US soldiers serving with me. And I must say we had a great time together ( as good as it gets over there anyway) and I agree with you that it is a small world and hope to catch up with them some day.

Stay Safe and keep riding
