Put a little over a 100 miles on my bike today and ended up at the Double D Saloon before heading home.

Had to get a member to sign me in as a guest and now I'm a member for $5.00 and Monday was $1.00 beer day...

I'll get my membership card the next time I drop in for a cold one.

I noticed another bar heading home it was the Handlebar lounge I think.

Are there any VTX riders that stop for a cold one at any of these places?

It's on South 21 in Fort Lawn. A good little ride from Waxhaw, NC

I frequent these watering holes weekly. My daughter works at "The Handle Bar". I'm there 2-3 times a week. Most of the time I'm with my Bitch "Little Bit". (NOOOO Not My Wife!)
She rides on my Tank.

I found it to be ok a little slow for a Monday at around 3:00pm. I did see The Handle Bar on the left on my way up north 21 It seemed they had a few more bike there. Is that a members only club?

I guy named Neil signed me in has a guest at the Double D so I was able to wet my whistle. That also got me a membership there...

It's private also. Need to get a membership! That way you can stop by on Sundays and wet your whistle also. Myself and another vtx rider (Rick) are the only 2 X riders that frequent the 2 places regularly.

I guess I'll have to do that...
At the Double D all I had to do was be a guess and pay $5 to become a member so I guess I'll find someone at The Handle Bar to sign me up one Sunday so I'll be able to get me a membership there also.

It won't be any problem. If I'm there I'll sign you as a quest and you can get a membership also. If I'm not there, just tell the bartender you want a membership.
