I had the privilige to ride with the PGR and the Low Country Petty Officers Assoc to Beaufort National Cemetery yesterday. What a great ride with some awsome patriots.
Let me say the Summerville motorcycle police that escorted us to Ravenel were some of the most professional riders I have ever seen. Those guys can do some pretty impressive things with a motorcycle, I guess you had to witness it to believe it.
I saw one other X on the ride, a real nice 1300R.

I am that other X.
But it is an S.
The Summerville Police Motor Unit took 4th overall out of 30 units at a Police Rodeo at the Coluseum in N. Cahs on the 22nd of July.
Great riders.
I broke my arm since the Beafort ride and am waiting for it to heal before heading to Sturgis on Aug 4.
Anybody else going?

Baton Rouge took overall team with Chas County finishing second. King of the Rodeo was Sgt Grimsley of Chas County.
I was the timer for the slow ride and team ride.
Slow ride was a 50' snake 2.5' wide. Slowest was 3 min 53 sec.
The team ride had 2 bikes strapped with velcro 2' long and they circled 3 cones and raced to the finish line. Quickest time there was Fairfax Va with 37 sec.
Check the link for the course layouts. These guys could RIDE. Everybody needs to try to make it there next year.
