View Full Version : Magellan Meridian on RAM Mount

It may not be the latest and greatest, but my Magellan Meridian
Platinum is what I use for hiking, and the RAM mounts from
cyclegadgets.com allow me to use it on my motorcycle when
I need to go someplace unfamiliar.

That is the set up I am using for my Meriplat. What/how did you run the lighter cord to? I am eating up AA batts like candy!!

I went to my favorite Auto supply store and purchased a
lighter power outlet with a small metal panel.
I wired the center of the outlet into the tailight circuit

(black with brown stripe)

the outer portion to ground and mounted it in the bracket for my windhield.

There is a rubber stopper to keep the rain out when
I am not using the detector or the Magellan.
