Moving to FLORIDA

Thought I'd try this post here. Leaving Texas on Tuesday this week for Lantana West Palm Beach area.<trailering my VTX>. looking for a room or a house to rent cheap. A buddys riding with me to split the gas and we are also pulling his jeep. Any help woulod be great...Shane

I live in Palm Beach Gardens, a little north of Lantana. Look in the paper for rentals, and check out the neighborhood before renting. You can literally go from a nice place to a drug infested area by crossing the street or stepping into the next neighborhood. What do you consider cheap? This is not an inexpensive place to live. Oh, one more note. If you ever took a motorcycle safety class, riding down here is like riding in the videos they show, but a lot worse. You have to watch your back, front and sides. All at the same time. I had a friend of mine hit, almost broadside while he was sitting at a light waiting for the turn arrow. Did over $3500 in damage to his bike and knocked him out. Good luck.
