Just a short note of introduction. I just found this group this evening and joined immediately. I just bought a VTX 1300 Retro and will be riding the wheels off of it this summer.

I noticed a couple of folks from this area have already posted; if you would like another one one the road with you, drop me a note. I'd love to ride with you.

Welcome. Names Greg. From Russellville. Love to ride. Just can't ride at night.Mornings are my best times. I've got an 04 1300 retro. Lots of things going on this spring and summer to do. Check the board regular and you will find it. Had a good time last weekend at magazine mount, at the bike show. Some beeautiful bikes there and good people. I just added you to the Arkansas Group...We are all riding up to Talimena Parkway this Saturday..You can meet us in Ola (just south of Russleville on Hwy 7) or meet us up at the Queen wilimena Lodge at noon...If you havent done the Talimena Parkway, it's a must ride....You picked a great bike and I am sure you are like the rest of with that constant grin since you got on your X....Hope to ride with you soon.....kevin

Right now the weather forecast calls for "scattered" storms Saturday..I personally want let scattered stop me because generally when I ride in the scattered conditions, I never actually get rained on and when it does , it is short and brief and he ol X gets me dried off quickly at 70mph. I believe that at this point we'll just have to wait and see---suppose to do most the raining Friday night ending early Saturday...I got my fingers(and toes) crossed.......kevin

Hi Cruiser...Welcome aboard..Although I'm not an Arkie member, I'm real close, just across the river from Fort Smith. Anytime you want to take a ride just let someone know where and when, and you might be suprised. I know you've been invited to the Talimena run this Saturday, try to come if possible. I think Wild Bill will be coming down hwy71, you might be able to hook up with him (them) when they come through...anyway..Welcome to the X family. :) :) :)
