I read a thread here a couple years ago about how to fix this interference issue but after hours of reading XM and 2610 threads I can't find the answer. Anyone on here solved this issue or remember what the fix was?
Thanks

I have both on my bars and don't seem to have any interference.

If I turn on the Roady while the 2610 is on it will lose satellite reception in about 10 seconds. When I turn off the Roady I get reception back in a few seconds.
There was post about this some time ago and some sort of filter was recommended to solve this but I can't find it. I think I need a power filter on the GPS but not sure.
Thanks

Oh...I see....I have a MyFi that's runnng off its own battery. It sounds like there is some sort of hi-frequency noise going through the 12V supply from the XM radio to the GPS. It might be a good idea to try some sort of vehicle noise filter. You can get them from Radio Shack or pretty much any place that sells and/or installs car audio systems.

I figured out how to fix my problem. Buy a newer radio. I have the original Roady and it apparently emits a lot EMI. I tried a friends Roady 2 and it does not interfer. Moved my radio to his bike and his 2610 lost satellite reception just like mine.
