Here we sit at 17 days and counting down to the annual kick-off event in Denver! What a great trip for those who can attend...the memories are something that'll stick with you for a long time. As we've discussed before, it's a time of superb riding, super people, wonderful scenery and a chance to put faces with a bunch of the names of folks you've traded posts with over the years. http://www.coloradovtxriders.org/postpictures/Countdown/Coloradical%202005%20(254).JPG

Good morning everyone 8) Just 9 more getups for me, then we're outta here :D Jeff hope everything works out for you bro. If there's anything we can do to help your situation on this end, just say the word. I can not believe how fast time is flying by. Did a quick check and did not find any current links that would take you to the 2005 list. Do you remember how you got there?

I had the link in my favorites, now I go back and it's normal again. Before there were only 2 pages / 198 listings and I nor Bigdad was on it. I double checked to make sure I hadn't made a mistake and all indications were that it was the 2005 list since it only listed who participated in 2003 and 2004. No 2005 option. Oh well it's back to 2006 now anyway. All's good. 8) Thanks Carol.

15 days and a wake up Jeff. Hope it works out for y'all so I'll have some caravan partners instead of driving solo out there. Besides, wouldn't feel right being on a big ride without you and Mrs P in sight
Give me a shout if you want to take a spin one evening this week.
And good evening to the rest of y'all, since no one's telling me good morning or anything  Jeff tell them I'm really not the other ericr19whatever and I'm ok!!!!!
Truelbue, It looks like y'all are leaving a week ahead of us, guess I'll get to meet y'all in CO. Have a good trip out there!

For some reason I can see page 1 of the registration list but I can't view page 2 or page 3. Is anyone else having this problem? I would like to see my name on the list just so I know it's reality and I haven't been dreaming!

We'll be there. We're riding to Arizona and Utah first then back to Denver. By the way I don't know the other guy you're referring to, but he must have been a real winner. Ride safe on the way out, or drive whatever your case is. See you in Colorado.
By the way, wake up Jeff! Time to make the Colorado trip come to life for us! Good morning Jeff, WAH, Country girl, EricR, Cliff, Carol, and everyone else that I can't think of their names right now.

That's not quite correct. I was explaining the plan and how difficult it would be to re-group after lunch in Aspen. You can see how difficult a task we had by PolarX scratching his head. We did a GREAT job too, I think I only lost about 22 bikes that day but that's OK we found them on the road to Glenwood. That should be a song, On the Road to Glenwood ... maybe not.
Hermit knew he was in trouble when he looked up and saw POGO as his assistant "wrench" when his shifter linkage broke in Leadville in 2004... http://www.coloradovtxriders.org/photogallery/2004julyride/2004julyindependencepass/SlideshowCD00046r.jpg
You know I love you man, in a manly way of course and you are the best counter we have but if I understand you correctly, you are saying that is you helping Hermit? Take a close look sir, I believe that is Gary - Bye Bye Nowlen a CO rider. He was working crew for that IP Ride and hung on my every word, that's why he pulled out of Aspen early with 22 bikes and got losted from the rest of us! LOL

Sorry but ... currently we have 274 bikes and 384 people registered representing 30 states including Alaska plus Canada. We usually see and expect this year another 12 to 15% that just show up and don't register. This year as in past years, TX is leading the pack of states outside of CO with 35 bikes and 49 people. WIVO's are running a close second with 29 bikes and 44 people.
It's all good, I like icons too!

FTR, a comma does NOT go after the "and", so your Carol is still your Carol and Joe's DeDe is still his DeDe; plus, he isn't one of those Mormon dudes, so he only has one wifey; regarding the second point, you were pointing, technically, to the west southwest, but I stand by my call; thirdly, it's me, sorry, but it is...what was the next point, I've already forgotten?! :!: :?:  :? 8) :o

Speaking of Pains in the A**, Becky and I took a scoot today and in the middle of a curve I QUICKLY lost all the air in my rear (2,500 mile new) tire. Thank goodness I knew it immediately and we were OK, but now I have another new rear tire and that is but another nail in the coffin, so to speak (not to mention the crack all the way through the right side mounting hole in the Leather Lyke bag I found when removing them for the tire replacement), regarding our plans to come out there for the third year in a row. :( Oh, well, there's always next year I guess and it's only 380 days :) away.

If a tire and cracked LeatherLyke are keeping you from going, I have good sized set of throw overs sitting in the garage and a rear tire off a Retro with about 4k left on it. Where do you want them sent?

Maybe next year we could do something like you guys that are making it a longer round trip with CO as one of your stops. This gives us time to save up some more money and vacation days to attempt something like that to make up for missing it this year. :D
Tejas had wanted to go to Illinois to see my family then on over to CO but I wasn't sure I could handle all the miles as that made it nearly twice the miles so I had discouraged him about doing it. I won't turn him down next year... 8)

Good morning all. oh man, no leprechan, no pogo, no us, posibbly no grayballs and PolarX......bunch of party poopers are we? LOL!
HEY CG...I'm not sure if the LaQuinta has a computer room or not but if they do come check in for a few minutes each day and tell us what ride you did for the day. The Shereton had two computers for us to get on. We had picked the Royal Gorge as Perry had never been there before. the O'l Farts Ride as I wanted to see that place that Amazing Race had started and ended at this last season, Curves and Canyons to get pics for once and the 5 Pass were the others we were planning to do.
BTW Cliff and Carol, thank you as we did get our items just before the accident. I've been just a bit "busy" to remember to tell y'all.

With only 1 day to go before the official Kick-Off at the LaQuinta in Denver for the 4th annual Coloradical event, today's offering in the "countdown" is probably more for those of us not going :( than for those who'll be in attendance. If you've not yet attended one of these superbly put together events, you REALLY need to consider trying to make one in the near future!!! JMHO. My wife and I have been fortunate to have been for the last 2 years in a row and I am definitiely going back as soon as I can swing it! There are quite a few bikes in the parking lot tonight.
AMS Medic is here. So are Spike and Acrotech. There is a couple from GA on a red retro. The Olsons from Minnesota, a Utah rider and a few others from California and Florida. And of course County Girl.
Sounds like they are taking a pre-ride ride in the morning.

Cliff here in drag but don't tell anybody. Too much trouble to sign in as me.
I put Spike in 137 and he was afraid, very afraid... So afraid in fact that the honor would be given to him that he gave the room to the Hurley's, VTX Vixen and Pistol. HE wimped out and is staying at the Sheraton.
But that's OK we won't hold it against him. The ghost in that room scares even me!
