Been a while since I've posted here. I'm wondering if there are any PGR's here besides Jack, and if so, anyone planing on riding to Bend/Redmond Saturday? If not, then I'll be heading over alone but I'm going to be there.

I am a PGR member and I went to the Jones memorial service yesterday. I am riding over tomorrow with the OVMA. We are leaving at 8 AM from the Albertsons on Main and 58th Street in Springfield. The PGR in meeting at the same place but will be taking off at 6:30 AM tomorrow.

I was there as well, I remember seeing your bike. We might see each other tomorrow as well, but might not, there is going to be quite a crowd.

Jack, you coming, or you have to work?

Hey BigMac I was looking for you yesterday. Wow what a group we had there for the service. I rode over with Bruce. Knightrider it was good seeing you.

I hope more people from around this area look to see what the PGR is about and decide to join up.

Hi all. I was there yesterday, as well as Thursday. I have been on 3 missions so far, each have been different, but with the same cause. I too would like to see more members from the VTX community. Thanks all that have participated.

This has been my third as well, my first was Cpl Jeremy Loveless then Cpl Robert L. Jones and PFC Thomas Tucker. All were heros and at the very least I can ride for them and their families.

Hey cool runnins, those were the three that I've been on. You the one with the blue retro? I agree with you, it is the least we can do. Pay our final respects to someone who died for our country. Never again will a hero come home alone!

Sorry BlackJack, I couldn't make the tucker mission. I had to work overtime on Saturday nite. From the news reports and mission report on the PGR forum, it looks like there was ALOT of support. That is great. I was there in spirit though. Hope to see you soon under better circumstances.

Hi Guys,

I'm also OVMA, out of Bend, but I was out-of-state this weekend. How was the turnout for the Tucker service? Did that group from Kansas show up and protese as they had promised?

I hope all went well.

I've seen several blue retros but yes, I do have a blue retro with a high 5 and sideburners so next time my brother step up and give me your hand, it would be an honor to meet you.

Hey Brian the group from Kansas decided to stay away from Oregon. Local Law Enforcement in your area and the State of Oregon could not offer them safe passage , due to the service for PFC Tucker. Pretty much told them that they were on their own, and that there were gonna be a lot of supporters for PFC Tucker. It was one heck of a turn out. At one point the said there were close to 400 bikes. I am still amazed at the out pouring of support from everyone in Central Oregon. This solider was truley a American Hero.

Thanks Blackjack,

I'm glad the family didn't have to deal with such things at a time like this.

I too was at the Tucker Service, what an experience. Truley moving, I'm 6'6" myself and lots of big hairy bikers found it very "dusty" at times. My heart goes out to the Tuckers and all 2539 + families that have had to deal with the same loss. I rode over with "Crimson" from hillsboro. I saw alot of VTX's, the whole thing was overwelming, didn't think of asking others about VTXOA. We hooked up with the Soldiers Mother that drove the decorated HumVee, left Gresham with 8 bikes soon had as many as 20 while escorting the Hummer. My ass still hurts, none of you will see me till I can shake momma for a new seat. I have a bald spot on my butt  its gonna take 6 months to grow that hair back.
