I'm trying to work it out where I can go the Chattanooga for the Honda Hoot. Where's the best place to stay around Chattanooga (OK, I really mean reasonable accomodations). I plan on leaving out of Jackson TN., and hope to hook up with other riders for the ride.

I guess I had a minor brain fart. I was looking at the registration form that morning and knew Knoxville was where the Hoot was held, but Chattanooga popped in my head when I was posting my question.

Capt, how could you get the 2 mixed up? Knoxville is much easier to spell than Chatt,,##,,,@@ oh, whatever!

By the way, I see you are from Jackson? I live in McKenzie. Not too far apart. Would like to set up a meeting sometime to eye ball you?

Rooms will be at a premium for the Hoot, so I would suggest looking at some of the outlying towns close to Knoxville. Morristown, Jefferson City, Lenoir City, Clinton, just to name a few. There should be lots of rooms available outside Knoxville at better rates.
