We are trying to plan a weekend campout type trip to either Mt.St.Helens or Mt.Rainer or both on the weekend of May 21-22-23. We would use Friday to get to the campground. Ride on Saturday and depart our ways on Sunday. St.Helens has some of the best bike roads in the state so it will be a pretty good weekend for riding. If this conflicts with any other major bike happenings let us know.

I will find out about a camp site. I think they have some rental trailer/campers for like 40 bucks a night if we can commit to that. I prefer to tent camp but the other option is open for those that want it.

Sounds interesting! How is the shelter and sleeping bags getting there?
More details about cabins available, ect. would be helpful and probably get more riders interested. lol.

They have campers for 40 bucks a night,if you want one let me know. As far as anything else I'm bringing my tent and bag on the scoot. Probably just get dogs and cook em on a stick something like that.

Yeah, You can count me and my wife in. Sounds like a very good way to spend 3 days. I guess we will need a trailer, as I don't have enough storage space on my bike for tents and bags. I do have a 38 foot RV thats only two years old, but I guess that wouldn't be the same, would it? I noticed the campground is a members only campground, but they welcome new visitors. Is that us, or are you guys already members there? The campground sounds like a nice place, for sure!

I have to wait till Monday to reserve a trailer, they have 27 ft trailers for 50 bucks plus tax. They sleep 6 so if 3 couples or whoever want to split it its 18 bucks per person or 36 bucks for a couple for the 2 nights.

I think Winterlion is looking at the trailer. These trailers have kitchens and stuff so maybe we can all chip in something and have a potluck on Saturday after our ride. They usually have a fire pit for drinking beer and telling lies also,,,

come on folks no more excuses,,,you have a bed and shower now!!!

I've been wanting to chime in on this weekend but haven't mainly because I am on-call next weekend. If I were able to go, when would be the drop dead date you'd need to know by? I would be bringing a 2-person tent.

Sure sounds like a good time in the making. I hope I can swing it.
