View Full Version : Who's gonna met the Cent. FL Riders on 5/22??

Some of us will be heading your way on 5/22. The plan is to meet at the park on US 27 south of I-75 about 9 - 9:30, ride to HDL for some shopping fun, have lunch and visit, and then head back to central Florida.
Did I mention that Hal is buying lunch for us?

I will need a head count within the next couple of weeks so Hal can find a place for lunch. If any of you are interested in meeting us somewhere on 27 that would be great.

Hope to meet lots of you on 5/22.

Okay South Florida......I know HDL is a neighborhood hangout for some of you but I KNOOOOW you aren't going to let Central Florida riders show up without a good size welcoming committee! Right? Okay lets see a show of hands (alright a show of "postings" then), who's going?

Ive ridden with most of the "visitors from up north"...trust me, must of them will leave you in their dust....lol

For VTHeXer................sounds like we might have a little challange to put together here :D

I think we have a couple of lightweight riders with "fast" bikes that can git up and go pretty good.

Not me, though.........too old and too fat! :(

Hal and I didn't discuss a discount. I do know that they aren't going to charge us more to cover lunch. :D

The south Florida group will be at Holiday Park at 9am......we're hoping for kickstands up by 9:30am....but the good folks from Central Florida are taking a heck of a ride and leaving their area about 5-5:30 am to meet up with us nice and early....so needless to say we won't leave until they are there (Holiday Park)

So much for the not spending $$ streak :D

I am gonna try to throw my new exhaust on this sat. If so I'll be down by Kegs South if you want to meet up. If not let me know where you and Steve want to meet to go up to HDL the following week.

yeah i know ive been going crazy ordering and buying stuff, gimme a call i aint going anywhere tomorrow all my friends are working, ill help you out throw on that exhaust, i live pretty close by keg and if anything theres a cycle shop right down the block of keg south, pretty cool guys,

I was thinking about the HDL thing. Here's my plan; meet you, Steve and anybody else who wants from South Miami at the IHOP next to the Honda House on Bird at 8am. Grab some breakfast then I think 826 is right there. Catch 75 from that, then hopefully one of you boys knows the way to where we meet the Calvary at about 9 to go blow our paychecks!!

If any better plan from Southern boys let me know.

take 75 North to Griffin Road, then west 5 miles to Holiday Park, where we hook up with the Central FL group.

I haven't heard from Z regarding the ride. LadyVTX posted all of the meeting spots and I have replied to her post with an updated roll call. It is posted on the General Board.

how did that exhaust finally come along? you never called,
i helped a friend of mine last night install his hypercharger and pipes on a black vtx 1300.

so if anything gimme a call on fri so we can make sure were all gonna meet on time if u need my number again let me know

any other south fla riders wanna meet up in kendall, we'll be at the IHOP next to Gables honda at 8am

7:30 at IHOP breakfast, then we should be leaving there by 8:15-8:30 meet at holiday park by 9am

Yeah 7:30 is probably better idea, didn't know how early you boys got up(thank God we don't live in Orlando :lol:).

The Central Florida group are set to be at Holiday Park some time between 9-9:30am. Assuming they meet that mark we will leave Holiday Park at 9:30

Yes Tina knows how to reach me if she needs anything!
