Might be a long shot, but anyone have an 1800 c with V&H Big Shots or Jardines on it in the Seattle - Bellevue area that I could take a listen to in person?

I really want new pipes, but the sound bits on the web just don't do it. Too hard to really tell what it's going to sound like.

Any volunteers?

TIA!

Jason

I'm not sure how much I can help... I'm running the V&H Bigshots on my C model. I've heard the Jardines, and IMHO they carry a bit more of the top end of the noise spectrum, so that they give a sort-of "raspy" tone, as compared to the V&H. Now, I've not heard the Jardines on a C model, and I know the V&H are slightly different from the C to the R.
I'd be happy to let you listen, but I'm in Bellingham... There's chatter on the board, tonight, about a ride up Chuckanut (soon?)... that might give you an opportunity... I don't know when the next time I'm headed very far south will be, but I'm open to possibilities!

Thanks Grinch... heck, just might be an excuse for me to head up there just for a listen. Not like it's a chore to ride up there. :)

I'll PM ya if I do decide to head north to see when you are going to be around and where to meet up with ya.

Thanks again,
Jason
