WestPA Sunday Run (8/6)

We had a nice turnout today for our run to ohiopyle and laurel mountain. The following VTXers were there,

Mishka (Michael), Rain Man X (Brian), Rev 301 (Rich), Classic 58 (Tim), Rated X(Ed), and his son Ed, and the misses and I (Brian & Mandy). The run was good and congrats to Rev 301 for making his first group ride. We had lunch at Dogwood's Acres in Mill Run. I had heard a lot about it, but this is a bar first, restaurant last. sorry it took me a little while to reply, but I was still full from lunch and just couldn't bring myself to type up my post until I digested a little longer!! If anybody is looking for the world's largest sandwich, steaming hot, and served up lickity split, just give me a holler and I'll guide you to the promise land!!

My son and myself had a good time today even if we fell asleep waiting for our food. Maybe it's the Honda thing in a Harley hangout. Anyway, it was good being with you guys. Sorry we snuck away when we hit Rt.51.

Absolutely Brian - thanks. It was a terrific ride. And just so no one gets the wrong idea of the restaurant, that sandwich pic in Mishka's post was about FOUR TIMES as big as the sandwich rain man got. I swear - that looked like a hysterical practical joke - but it wasn't a joke! Holy cow that was funny.

At any rate, I now know what to expect from the food service - but I'm plannin to go back for the BIKES and WET T-SHIRT CONTESTS on the 27th! That looks like fun. (I'll be packing food along.....) :lol: :lol: :lol:
