This is an experiment that I hope don't cause Lamont any grief. I've asked for this forum for us X riders in the Pacific Northwest who are not affiliated with the State Chapters and don't wish to be. Feel free to post ride info or any other topic related to riding in our states.
I hope this helps us reach out and meet others whose passion is not just club activities, but the joy of our X's and the comaraderie and brotherhood of bike riders.
Please feel free to use the State Chapters as well. This is generic, one size fits all bucket.

GREAT IDEA AL I THINK THAT THIS IS A EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS TO BE ABLE TO EXTEND THEIRSELVES OUT BEYOND THE BORDERS OF THEIR STATE SITE. THE FACT THAT MORE INFORMATION IS READILY AVAILABLE TO ALL OF US IS A PLUS. I THINK THIS MAY OPEN UP NEW DOORS FOR SOME THAT MAY HAVE FELT UNEASY ABOUT BEING NEW TO THE VTX FORUM AND NOT WANTING TO POST ANYTHING <---- JUST MY OPINION........GOOD JOB

The forum still stands and as a pointer to the official site. Grinch proclaimed that. Learned alot from this experience hopefully the worst is behind. Many thanks for Lamont for reconsidering and giving us a new place. All are welcome group or no group.
So, again pull up a mug o Java, kick back and relax. Share some stories or post a ride or must see route. Have fun and turn the politics off. I hope for the best.

With Portland and Vancouver so close to each other, I'm hoping some Washington will come to hang as well, the 2 states have never really gotten to know eachother like the should

Also, I think that as long as we keep this place non judgemental and non bashing, I can't see anything negative that can come out of it.

My "proclamation" was merely that the "Official" site for the State of Washington did change hosts... but did not change identities.

I have a hard time knowing what the heck you mean Grinch. I will go back and re-read it.
The forum is left up as a pointer to your groups site. I will make sure anyone looking for official group biz, is directed appropriately. The forum is also for VTXOA owners wishing to talk related items Washington specific and is not owned by the State org.
This forum is generic to those owners looking to talk about things related to our NW geographical location. This would include adjacent states. It is owned by us to discuss anyting related to our bikes and locale.
The only reason I started the Washington forum was the old site was not meeting the needs of some. Especially us who are frequent users here.
You seemed to have spoken for your group, and only a couple disagreed. I acknowledged the groups desire for one site as the official site with Chris as leader and Tony as webmaster. I think IMHO, people will go there if they feel comfortable, and I hope they will see their choices as worthwhile.
For everyones benefit, both forums here will remain for as long as people use them. I for one plan to and encourage others to as well.
Thanks. Have a good day.
